A headband that deconstructs the traditional wisteria trellis kanzashi motif with long, swirling tendrils of wisteria petals arranged along a halo-like headband.

Each petal is a square of hand dyed silk habotai, carefully folded, starched into shape, and glued into place. The butterflies are handcrafted from wire, resin and holographic film and sparkle flash blue and yellow as the wings shift in the light.
