Spring has finally sprung here in Saskatchewan. The ice has melted, the grass is slowly coming back to life. It’s great.
And of course, since it’s the start of a new month that means it’s time for a new monthly sketch dump.
First up, we have a forlorn looking portrait of a lady. I like her messy hair. I might be biased, since my hair is always messy – though never quite so elegantly. She kind of reminds me of an actress from a sad Korean drama.
Second, we have a 3/4 view portrait of a stylish natural haired woman. This one is probably my favorite for this month; I like her hand and I’ve always been fond of 3/4 view portraits.
Last, but certainly not least, is a ballpoint pen sketch of a rabbit. I felt like the rabbit was a good choice, with Easter coming up and all. When I was a kid, I once volunteered my family to keep our class’s pet rabbit over the break. My Mom was not thrilled, as I had volunteered us without telling her, but I had a lot of fun feeding the bunny vegetables.
If you didn’t know, I get my drawing prompts from the facebook group Daily Drawing Challenge. If you want to challenge yourself, improve your skill, or just see some cool art I highly recommend checking it out!
Anyhoo, that is all I’ve got for this week’s blog. Check back next week for more art, craft and nerdery.
